Welcome to Olympic View Elementary
We are the home of the Eagles and serve preschool through 5th grade in Lacey, WA. We are a diverse, inspiring, and compassionate school community, building a strong foundation to prepare all students to become lifelong learners and successful citizens.

Goals & School Improvement Plan
Academic Gap Goal
Grade 2 students, who receive special education support, will grow in their Passage Reading Fluency (PRF) from high risk of 41% to 25% by the end of June as measured by the easyCBM.
Behavior or Social-Emotional Learning Gap Goal
Chronic absenteeism rates will decrease for our students identified as Pacific Islander/Native Hawaiian from 61.5% in quarter 3 of 2023-24 to 40% in quarter 3 of 2024-25.

Olympic View values the strong support of our families, alumni, and community. Volunteer opportunities include mentoring, tutoring, participating in events and field trips, helping in the classroom, and more.
Building History
Olympic View Elementary was built in 1969 on 9.8 acres. It is located at 1330 Horne Avenue NE in Lacey. The 40,933 square foot building includes 26 instructional spaces, plus 15 portable classrooms.
- In 1998, a modernization was completed, utilizing bond and state funds.
- In 2010, Olympic View received a renovation and addition to the covered play area.
