Welcome to Olympic View Elementary!

We are the home of the Eagles, and serve preschool through 5th grade in Lacey, WA.

We are a diverse, inspiring, and compassionate school community, building a strong foundation to prepare all students to become lifelong learners and successful citizens.

At Olympic View, we practice the Eagle Way:

Academic Gap Goal

Fifty percent of students with an IEP, scoring below the 50% percentile on the fall Passage Reading Fluency easy CBM in grades 2-5, will improve at least one risk level by spring (high risk to some risk, some risk to low risk).

Social-Emotional Gap Goal

The gap for regular attendance between students identified as American Indian/Alaska Native compared to our school average will decrease by 50% from June 2023 to June 2024 at each grade level.

Olympic View Building History

Olympic View Elementary was built in 1969 on 9.8 acres. It is located at 1330 Horne Avenue NE in Lacey. The 40,933 square foot building includes 26 instructional spaces, plus 15 portable classrooms.

• In 1998, a modernization was completed, utilizing bond and state funds.
• In 2010, Olympic View received a renovation and addition to the covered play area.
